How does the new 130GB BIgga plan work?
The 130GB Bigga plan offers customers 130GB, valid for 30 days, PLUS 3GB data daily once the 130GB is depleted. Customers will stay online with 3GB daily until the 130GB Bigga plan expires.
What happens if I still have data left and my validity has run out?
Customers will be unable to use their unused data beyond the validity period. When this occurs, customers have a grace period to renew their plan and roll over unused data.
During the grace period, customers will not lose unused data from the previous month at the expiry of their data plan. Customers can renew their data plans within this period and roll over their unused data when they recharge with a new data plan.
How does data rollover work?
All data plans have an associated grace period based on the capped data plan's validity. A capped data plan is a data plan with an exact volume of data included in the plan. Please refer below to the grace periods associated with Smile data plans:
• A data plan with 1-day validity has a 1-day grace period;
• A data plan with a validity of fewer than 30 days has a grace period of 3 days;
• A data plan with 30 days or longer validity has a grace period of 7 days.
What are the usage terms for data rollover?
Data rollover terms of use:
Data rollover is available on all data plans except SmileUnlimited plans.
From 26th June 2018, data rollover now makes provision for a “grace period” which enables customers additional time to recharge with a new data plan to roll over unused data.
During the “grace period”, unused data is not lost and the customer has the opportunity to renew their data plan within this “grace period” to roll over unused data.
Data rollover is available by default to all data plans (including 365 days validity plans) including the new “grace period”.
To roll over unused data a customer is required to buy the same data plan or upgrade their data plan to a higher-value data plan for the unused data to roll over. For example; when a 2GB data plan expires and there is 200MB data left in this plan, the customer’s unused 200MB will roll over when the customer recharges with another 2GB or bigger data plan before the “grace period” expires.
The customer will be notified via SMS, to the mobile number registered with Smile, on successful rollover of unused data.
The customer can also send a data balance inquiry, by sending “Y” from SmileVoice to 343 (FREE) or log into MySmile to view data balance.
The “grace period” applies to all data plans and is available as follows:

How does BONUS on recharge work?
Some Starter KITs include a volume of BONUS recharge data that customers get when they recharge the months following their KIT purchase. For example, "30GB BONUS recharge for the following 6 months valid 14 days" would mean that customers get 5GB BONUS data every month they recharge with a minimum value of N3,000. If I recharge with 8GB the month after my KIT purchase, valued at N3,000, I will receive an additional 5GB BONUS data valid for 14 days. When customers access the internet, their usage will be deducted first from the 5GB BONUS and then from the paid-for 8GB recharged data.
