The SmileKonnect device kit offer will now be available with the following value: • AlwaysOn Data Offer valid for 30 days (only usable in Nigeria) at N25,000, with 4GB data daily at up to 3Mbps plus unlimited FREE Smile-to-Smile calls and SMSs with SmileVoice, plus 10 local SmileVoice minutes • Minimum of N20k plan to be purchased for following 2 months after activation includes Free-roaming data (1GB valid for one day) that is only available the first time the device is used for roaming, with data roaming available in over 85 countries

The device works within Smile coverage areas locally. For roaming, as long as the customer is within one of the 85 supported countries, the SmileKonnect device will search for the most robust local service provider on the Nuu partner network then automatically connect, giving a WiFi connection that can be shared with up to a maximum of 5 devices. An active data plan is required to connect to the internet and can be purchased through the SmileKonnect App for roaming data or through Smile channels for local data.

It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the SmileKonnect device, and then the device can be used for up to 10 hours.

On activation, the customer will receive the included data offer (AlwaysOn for 30 days) and will have access to the included SmileVoice offer by downloading the SmileVoice App from the Apple App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices. To enjoy the free-roaming data offer, the customer must notify Smile through any of its channels to manually activate the data. Subsequently, the customer can purchase any of the available roaming plans through the SmileKonnect App (available from the Apple App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices.). For the first 2 months after activation, the customer can only purchase a plan of N20k and above. It is recommended to recharge with at least an UnlimitedPremium plan for the following 2 months.

Ensure to install the SmileKonnect App (available from App or Google Play Store) • Click on the menu button and select “Buy Package.” • Enter the device serial number (this can be found at the back of the device) • Select a plan to purchase • Review and accept Terms & Condition then click pay • Confirm payment on PayPal

The SmileKonnect device has a 3-month warranty which can be obtained from any Smile outlet.

Smile has partnered with Nuu mobile to deliver this service. In each country where Nuu mobile provides coverage, Nuu collaborates with multiple providers, offering the most reliable internet. Nuu mobile has a presence in over 85 countries across the world.

The SmileKonnect device searches for the strongest signal based on your location and then connects the same way as a smartphone.

• Turn the SmileKonnect device on by pressing the power button. • Wait until the Internet Connection / 4G LTE LED lights turn green. This indicates that the device is connected to a local network and is ready to use. • Look for the SmileKonnect WiFi connection settings (SSID on the back of the device) with your device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.). • Select the connection and enter the password (shown on the back of the device) when prompted. The SmileKonnect device creates a wireless Hotspot that is simple to connect to and can receive 4G LTE signals

Check the battery levels of the SmileKonnect device in two ways: • Through the SmileKonnect App installed on a compatible Smartphone (iOS or Android) • Through the LED indicator lights by a short press of the power button on the side of the device

To power On the device: Press and hold Power Button for 5 seconds for turning on your SmileKonnect device; Power ON/OFF LED status is Green; Wait till the Internet Connection LED / 4G-LTE LED turns green To power Off the device: Press and hold Power Button until Power ON/OFF LED status Red and then release the button; Battery Capacity LEDs status: There are 4 LEDs to show battery capacity: 100% capacity: 4 LED are ON; 75% capacity: 3 LED are ON; 50% capacity: 2 LED are ON; 25% capacity: 1 LED is ON.

The SmileKonnect roaming solution is unique. You do not have to change SIM cards when roaming, just take your SmileKonnect device with you. The roaming costs of data is also very affordable compared to other roaming internet solutions as offered by competitors in the Nigerian market.

The SmileKonnect device is available from certified Smile shops in Lagos, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Asaba and Ibadan.

Data plans are available for purchase through any of the available Smile channels, which include Shops, Kiosks, direct sales team, Smile partners, Smile website, Bank Apps, Smile Voice & SelfCare App or through the SmileKonnect App Data purchases through the Smile channel will only be available for use in the home country (Nigeria). In contrast, the international roaming data will be available through the SmileKonnect App and paid using PayPal.
